Working Principle – AB Adhesive Automatic Cartridge Filling Machine
Designed for 50ml 1:1 dual‑component standard cartridges, this machine is ideal for low‑viscosity, flowable adhesives (fillers optional, depending on material fluidity). The entire filling process is fully pneumatic and PLC‑controlled, ensuring consistent output with minimal manual intervention.
Pneumatic AB adhesive cartridge filler for 50ml 1:1 standard cartridges. Low-viscosity adhesives are manually loaded into pressure tanks, then pneumatically conveyed to synchronized cylinder metering pumps for precise 1:1 volumetric dispensing. The automatic cartridge fixture aligns and secures the empty cartridge while A/B components are simultaneously injected into the cartridge. PLC-controlled system ensures stable ratio accuracy, minimal waste, and consistent fill volume. Suitable for flowable adhesives with or without fillers. Ideal for production environments requiring reliable, high-precision dual-component cartridge filling.

Front Side Configuration – Operator Interface & Control Panel
The front side of the machine is designed for intuitive operation, real-time monitoring, and quick parameter adjustment. All critical control components are centrally arranged for operator convenience.
1. PLC Touchscreen Control System
● Equipped with a Siemens 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (HMI) integrated with a Siemens PLC controller and expansion modules.
● Operators can directly set and adjust dispensing ratio, dispensing volume, dispensing speed, and monitor real-time machine status via the touch interface.
● The system supports manual/semi-automatic switching for flexible production modes.
2. Pneumatic & Safety Controls
● Precision solenoid valves control the opening/closing of the dispensing head and coordinate all pneumatic components for smooth operation.
● A master emergency stop switch is positioned for immediate power cut-off in case of abnormality.
● A foot-operated electric switch allows hands-free cycle initiation, improving operational efficiency.
3. Dispensing Head Assembly
● A dual-action dispensing head independently controls A/B material output and cut-off.
● The mixing head is equipped with multi-layer seals that create a vacuum back-suction effect, effectively preventing material dripping and minimizing stringing after stop (note: slight stringing may occur with high-viscosity adhesives, which is normal).
4. Automatic Cartridge Fixture (Front Filling Station)
● A dedicated 50ml 1:1 standard cartridge fixture is mounted at the front filling position.
● The fixture securely holds the empty cartridge in precise alignment with the dispensing head for accurate simultaneous injection.
Back Side Configuration – Material Supply & Drive Systems
The back side houses the material storage, metering delivery, power transmission, and utility support systems, ensuring stable, continuous, and safe operation.1. Dual Pressure Tank System (Material Supply)
● Equipped with two 30L Carbon Steel Pressure Vessel with Teflon Coating and Conical Bottom (one for Part A, one for Part B), each capable of holding approximately 25kg of adhesive per batch.
● Each tank includes a pneumatic/vacuum switching valve, pressure regulator, vacuum gauge, exhaust valve, and safety relief valve for precise pressure control and safe operation.
● Tank outlets connect to the metering system via corrosion-resistant, high-temperature-resistant delivery pipes and stainless steel ball valves.
● Each line is fitted with a #304 stainless steel Y-type strainer and stainless steel shut-off valves to filter impurities and ensure material cleanliness.
2. Dual Metering Pump Systems (Precision Delivery)
The machine is equipped with two independent precision metering systems for A and B components, offering flexibility and redundancy:
● Option A – Plunger Pumps: Two sets of precision wear-resistant plunger pumps for volumetric metering of liquid A/B adhesives.
● Option B – Gear Pumps: Two sets of 20:1 planetary gear reducers driving precision gear pumps for continuous, smooth metering of liquid adhesives (configured based on material characteristics).
Both systems are driven by two pneumatic cylinders, allowing adjustable ratio, controllable dispensing speed, and programmable shot size per cycle.
3. Stepper Motor-Driven Lifting Platform
● A stepper motor-driven elevating platform is integrated at the back, synchronizing cartridge descent with the filling process for automated, hands-free operation.
4. Automatic Plunger Insertion & Cartridge Assembly System
● A complete automatic plunger insertion and cartridge assembly system is mounted on the rear section, enabling automated lifting and filling of 50ml 1:1 cartridges, along with corresponding pressing fixtures for plunger placement – streamlining the entire filling-to-sealing workflow.
5. Machine Frame & Mobility
● Heavy-duty steel structure with baked enamel coating ensures durability and stability.
